This past Sunday (Easter), we decided to paint ourselves instead of paint eggs. Vicki purchased some soft wheeled throwable paintballs, and skin safe colored water pouches to fill our water guns. We had quite a fun time!
Later, after cleanup and resting, we took our first trip out of the house down to Seal Beach Main St. to watch the sunset, walk around, and get some ice cream.
We took the wheelchair for Noah, (but he is able to stand and walk around), just not for long distances yet, and his balance is a little off. He was able to push Tyler in the wheelchair (using the handles as a walker and Tyler's weight in the chair for stability). It's a great way for him to get some steps in.
Of course Noah has been his usual goofy self during all of this. He is his normal upbeat, positive, selfless and loving self. Vicki and I are doing our best to keep life as normal as possible for Noah, Tyler and Allyson. Thankfully, Tyler and Allyson have been strong and quite helpful with their little brother.
